Over the first term of 2018 we will be taking a closer look at the Gospel of John. As we journey through selected parts of John’s Gospel we’ll be getting to know Jesus through his words and actions, and to understand how he came to ‘give life.’

John writes about Jesus because he wants you to have LIFE. True Life. Full-filled Life. Eternal Life. And that’s what Christians want for their friends, family, and children as well. The way to have this life is through BELIEVING - not just a mental assent to certain facts, but a personal trust that Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah sent from God to bring life. Like others, John saw Jesus do many amazing SIGNS - and in John’s account, these are pointers, that bear witness to his glory and life-giving power.

JOHN 20:30-31

30 Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of His disciples that are not written in this book. 31 But these are written so that you may believe Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and by believing you may have life in His name.
