Baptism Celebration
Sunday the 23rd of March was a glorious day, 65 of our Church Family, including children, attended the baptisms of both Emma Males and Gerald Satherley.
The Holy Spirit was with us though I would believe none felt it more than Emma and Gerald as they publicly declared their faith and told us of their journey to this moment.
Emma described her baptism as a physical and spiritual action of “the old me down and the new me up.”
Gerald described his life before the church as “having all he wanted but not what he needed.”
The emotion of both Gerald and Emma as they rose from the pool and were anointed with the cross was a blessing for all to witness.
Following the baptisms many people shared words of wisdom and encouragement and laid blessings on Emma and Gerald.
After the services we had a lunch with many delicious plates made by members of the Church Family. Everyone was enjoying their time together and were happy to share in the beauty of the day.
