Haere Mai: Final Call for Hosts, Facilitators & Group Members!
Dear Church Family
This is a friendly reminder about the Haere Mai Project, our exciting opportunity to invite people to explore the Christian faith. This is your LAST CHANCE to join us as we prepare to launch the Christianity Explored course on Easter Sunday!
We know that many of you are considering how you can be involved, and the deadline for applications is quickly approaching. The sign-up period closes this Sunday (March 2nd).
What’s Needed?
Your participation in the Haere Mai Project will help create a welcoming space where people can explore the Christian faith through personal invitation, hospitality and community, and the opportunity to share the hope we have in Christ. We are looking for people to fill the following crucial roles:
Hosts: Open your home to a welcoming environment for the weekly meetings. Hospitality is key!
Facilitators: Lead group discussions and guide participants through the Christianity Explored material. Training and ongoing support will be provided.
Group Members (Christian Participants): Commit to attending the sessions, contributing to discussions, and prayerfully inviting a friend or family member who doesn't know Christ to join the group.
Why Now?
Formation of groups and final preparation are to commence on March 30. We need to know who's in so we can plan the course and group formation.
Training for Facilitators and Hosts will be held on March 16 & 23, so the sooner we know who will be involved, the more prepared we can all be.
How to Get Involved:
If you feel called to serve as a host, facilitator, or group member, please fill out the Response Form and return it via the offering bag or to Tineke in the office no later than March 2nd.
