Dear Church Family
It is with both sadness and gratitude that I write to invite you to a memorial service for Pam Brown, a dearly loved member of our church family. Pam went home to be with the Lord on 10th December 2024, at the age of 97.
Her Memorial Service will be held on Monday 10th February at 1:00pm at St Christopher’s Church.
Pam was a faithful and beloved member of our church, worshipping regularly at our Wednesday services and occasionally at our Sunday 9am service. She was a committed participant in our Eldercare Ministry and actively involved in the knitting group, among other ministries.
Personally, Pam touched my life deeply. She was an encourager, always seeking ways to affirm my ministry, especially in my early days at St Christopher’s. I was honoured to visit her at the Marlborough Hospice on the day she passed and to offer her the Last Rites. Like many of you, I will miss her dearly. But we take comfort in knowing she is with the Lord, which is far better.
I encourage you to join us as we honour Pam’s life, give thanks for her faithful witness, and extend our love and support to her family.
